Complete Water Media Workshop

Location: Murray Harbour Community Center, Murray Harbour, PEI Class Cost: $950

Colour and Watercolour Workshop

Stephen Quiller will be having two, 4 day workshops at the Community Center in Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The first 4 day workshop will run from Thursday, October 4, 2012 to Sunday, October 07, 2012. The first workshop will be a colour workshop primarily using watercolour to explore colour mixing, colour relationships and various color theory for expression using his palette and color system. If there is time and weather permitting we will work the last day on location exploring this palette outdoors.

Experimental Water Media Workshop

The second workshop will be held at the same place , October11-14th and will be devoted to experimental water media using acrylic, watercolor and gouache (or casein) with various paint applications to create beautiful visual qualities. Each medium will be used to advantage in terms of visual qualities and handling characteristics. One day may be devoted to acrylic collage.

There will be 3 open studio days in between the two workshops (October 8-10th) in which the students can have in-class study to utilize the instruction of the first 4 day workshop and prepare for the second 4 day workshop. This will be a relaxed, work at your own pace atmosphere. It can also be a time to explore the area.

Class limited to 20 students - Each student will have his/her own table provided. People flying in for this class will have a stand rite easel, water bucket, cloths , drop sheets, etc provided. Please note...this is only for those FLYING in for the workshop.
